The CPU cooler kit arrived in a typical Corsair package, dressed in the traditional dark branded colors. What caught our attention was the front of the box, where the “H70” label distinguished itself by its bright and impressive font.

As soon as you open the Corsair H70 package, you will find many components such as screws, backplate and retention modules. The cooler comes along with two fans and a Y converter, with which you can combine those two fans into a 3-pin connector on your motherboard. The inner package is well designed, thus, it gives you the opportunity to put the products back for storage purposes.

Let’s take a closer look into the overall components that come along with the package.

In the picture above we can see the rest of the components. In the left and right corner, we see the Intel and AMD back plates respectively, whereas in the middle there are the retention ring brackets in which H70 waterblock locks into. Finally, we have mounted the fans on the radiator in push-pull configuration. Also, please notice that there is a plastic protection for the copper base-plate of the waterblock.
